In celebration of the America250 anniversary, the Silverton Country Historical Society is looking forward to the next generation of history-makers! We are officially inviting all local students to share their vision of tomorrow in our youth essay contest:
Silverton 2076: Visions of Our Future
We want to hear your unique perspective on how our community might evolve, innovate, and thrive over the next half-century.

- Eligibility: Open to all Silverton youth
- Winners Announced: Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the Silverton Country Historical Society Museum
